Makassed ABSS integrates STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) in the curriculum in order to promote critical thinking, innovation and collaboration.  STEAM education provides learners with an opportunity to apply hands-on activities and think about real-world problems.

Makassed organizes workshops on STEAM education for professional development purposes. Now, with better facilities, technology, and STEAM labs, teachers apply STEAM activities to develop students’ critical thinking, and collaborate with their classmates through inquiry-based activities. 

During science sessions, ABSers are given the opportunity to acquire skills and competencies while creating interesting STEAM projects.
