Cambridge Program
Cambridge Primary is an international educational program, typically for young learners ages 5 to 11 years and is used in primary schools around the world. The Cambridge Primary Curriculum at ABSS promotes an inquiry-based approach to learning to develop thinking skills and encourage intellectual engagement.
The Cambridge framework provides curricula for the key subjects of English, Mathematics and Science.
Cambridge Primary Checkpoint is designed to assess learners at the end of each academic year. It gives valuable feedback on learners’ strengths and weaknesses before they progress to the next stage of education. Moreover, it provides schools with an external international benchmark for learners’ performance through reports generated per student and certificates of completing the Cambridge Primary Curriculum issued only for sixth graders.
Digital learning
Digital learning is an instructional practice that ultimately helps our students at ABSS. By digital learning, we make use of a broad range of technology-enhanced educational strategies such as: blended learning, flipped learning, personalized learning, and other strategies that rely on digital tools.
Through digital learning, our students are provided with opportunities to enhance their learning across different subjects, their sense of creativity, self-direction and their problem solving skills.
The digital tools used at ABSS are: interactive whiteboards, IPads, VR, laptops/computers, cellphones, applications and platforms (such as: Khan Academy, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Stream, etc…)
