At ABSS, learning is a process through which students develop their cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities. Our rigorous curriculum and the innovative teaching strategies implemented by ABSS teachers, enable students to develop their sense of creativity, problem-solving skills and critical thinking.

ABSS constitutes of a preschool and elementary departments. The preschool is composed of three grade levels, KG1-KG2-KG3, and caters for students aged 3 to 5 years. Moreover, the Elementary Department is composed of six grade levels, grades one to six, and caters for students aged 6 to 11 years.

In Preschool, three languages are taught: Arabic, English, and French. Other subjects include Islamic Education, Math, Science, Music, Art, ICT, and P.E.

In Elementary Department, three languages are taught: Arabic, English, and French. Other subjects include Islamic Education, Math, Science, Geography, History, Civics, Music, Art, ICT, and P.E.

The Elementary curriculum integrates both the Lebanese and the Cambridge curriculum. Sixth graders take the checkpoint tests, which are considered as summative assessments, in English, Math and Science at the end of the school year. Checkpoint test results are generated and sent to us by the Cambridge University. We use the test results while planning for needed intervention. Moreover, upon completion of checkpoint tests, sixth graders are given a certificate of completion of Cambridge Primary Curriculum from Cambridge University.
