Extra-curricular activities at ABSS aim to develop well-rounded students. They go hand-in-hand with academics to include learning new skills, improving academic performance, appreciating individual differences, respecting the environment, and improving management skills. ABSS’s extracurricular activities are of various kinds such as cultural, philanthropic, athletic, and social.
ABSS students take part in national and international conferences, competitions, science fairs, drama, music competitions and concerts both inside and outside Lebanon. Field trips, both educational and recreational, are scheduled annually where students visit theaters, museums, historical sites, art exhibitions, and book fairs.
Sports Clubs
The sports clubs offer ABSers the opportunity to practice sports and spend leisure time actively. It also helps students to develop their interactions with their peers and share similar interests with other students.

Drama Club
Drama allows students to communicate with others in new and innovative ways. It also helps students develop tolerance and empathy. ABSS Drama Club is open to all students and especially for students who are interested in theater. Joining this club often help participants develop acting and team work skills. Moreover, they have chances to get creative while designing the costumes and the decoration of the setting.
During Drama club, students work on topics related to global citizenship, such as children’s rights, saving the planet earth and fighting bullying in Schools.
Music Choir
Being a member in the school choir provides a sense of real belonging, offers new opportunities for learning, and encourages student engagement.
While joining the choir, ABSers build friendships, boost their self-confidence, and creatively express themselves while participating in school and national events.
